In order to be fully satisfied with the way your violin sounds, you will need to take it to skilled professionals who know how to properly perform violin maintenance. This process usually takes place two to four times per year, depending on the hours you spend on your daily practice. While it is true that I instruct all of my students on basic cleanup and maintenance, there are more involved procedures such as bow re-hair or polish cleanup that need to be performed at a violin shop. I would like to recommend two violin shops here. These are businesses to which I bring my own instrument whenever a little touch up or some more serious repair is needed. I hope this information helps! Thank you for visiting Violin Lessons Raleigh!
